Aksan Sjuman and the Committee of the Fest are the jazz-influenced drummer Aksan Sjuman, Indra Perkasa on contrabass, Mery Kasiman on keyboard, Nikita Dompas and Dion Janapria on guitar, and Kartika Jahja on vocals, to complete the band’s experimental vision.
They are on the track to become household names in Indonesian jazz with numerous performances such as in the International Java Jazz Festival (2009 & 2010), Anugerah Cerpen Terbaik Kompas (2012), Serambi Jazz (2013) and Pidato Kebudayaan (2013). Since the first recording in 2007, the band finally released the first album Realitas Khayal in 2014.
